Workshop: Japanese Scents and Aromas

Embark on a journey and explore the scents of Japan – from traditional scented woods and incense to essential oils. Ako from Distel Bioladen+ in Frankfurt will share insights into how scents have shaped Japanese culture and daily life since the introduction of Buddhism and explain how typical Japanese aromas are produced. Experience their soothing effects firsthand with a sensory hand massage. We ask all participants to bring their own writing materials and a pair of small scissors.
