Anna YAMADA, this year’s recipient of the NIPPON RISING STAR AWARD, is one of the few up-and-coming actresses in Japan to move effortlessly between major cinema productions and innovative independent films. At the festival, we are screening her films NEW GROUP and LITTLE LOVE SONG in addition to the anime CHAO.
