In their performance, “Ordinary”, Tomoya KAWAMURA and Atsushi TAKAHASHI combine elements from traditional Japanese noh theater with modern dance and explore those moments when our seemingly unwavering sense of normalcy is shaken up. Inspired by historical upheavals in Japan, they draw parallels with the present and negotiate questions of loss and memory.
