Nine works by former students of the Tokyo University of the Arts’ Institute of Animation demonstrate powerfully how music and animation interact. Rounding off the program are three short films by Oscar-nominated director and professor Koji YAMAMURA, whose latest film, the animated ink painting THE SPRING SEA, will feature live musical accompaniment by Naoko KIKUCHI (koto) and Tony CLARK (shakuhachi).
