In search of his mother, eighteen-year-old Yuki visits his aunt Noriko who runs a small campground nestled in the woods – a place that holds many memories. But past traumas and worries make it difficult for Yuki and Noriko to connect. Yoshinori SATO’s superbly cast drama shows the obstacles that often must be overcome in order to bond with others.

About Yoshinori SATO
佐藤慶紀
Yoshinori SATO was born in Aichi Prefecture in 1975. Following his studies at the University of Southern California, he worked primarily on TV productions. His feature film debut BAD CHILD (2013) was screened at numerous international film festivals, as was his second film HER MOTHER (2016). In 2019, he made his first documentary, SHINJUKU TIGER (NC ‘19).
