About Yoshiyuki OKUYAMA
奥山由之
Yoshiyuki OKUYAMA, born in Tokyo in 1991, studied at Keio University. Since beginning his artistic career as a photographer in 2009, he has received numerous awards for his work. In addition, he has established himself as a director of commercials and music videos. His first feature film, AT THE BENCH (2024), which he produced himself, won two awards in the Forward Future section at the 15th Beijing International Film Festival. 5 CENTIMETERS PER SECOND (2025 / NC ’26) is his second feature film and premiered at the Busan International Film Festival in 2025.
