Nippon Connection celebrates its 25th anniversary! Since its founding as a student project in 2000, the festival has grown into one of the most important platforms for Japanese film. Festival director and co-founder Marion KLOMFASS and former members of the organizing team take a look back at the early years and discuss what sparked the foundation of Nippon Connection. The event will be moderated by the film critic Heiko HANEL, who has been following the festival since the very beginning.
