Singer NILO’s music combines the sounds of her home country, Japan, with Brazilian rhythms. Since her debut album “Bossa NILO” (2007), she has become known for mixing music genres, including bossa nova, jazz, and Japanese city pop. At Nippon Connection, she brings a repertoire consisting of her own music, anime soundtracks, and city pop covers to the stage with her guitar and her expressive voice.
