NIPPON SHORTS presents a varied mix of current short films: STEERING FORWARD is a drama about a young female boat captain. DETOURING BLUE takes the audience on a journey through nightly Tokyo. The comedy TSUKUMO-SAN is followed by MEMBRANE, a documentary about a collector of historical garments for babies. LIKE THAT OLD MAN tells the story of an unexpected friendship between an old policeman and a young runaway.
