Michiyo ARAKAWA, a kirigami artist from Okinawa, transforms paper into unimaginable works of art with unconventional cutting techniques. She does not use predetermined lines in her art, preferring instead to be led by her imagination and cut the paper freehand. Her cut paper designs represent both beautiful and tragic memories, bridging the gap between time and space.
