Mirai, a shy girl, dreams of the future when she hears a song on the street. She follows the melody and meets a mysterious girl with pigtails (Japanese musician Cosame NISHIYAMA), who plays the ukulele and sings. Mirai is immediately fascinated by her open manner and they become friends. Shortly after, she joins the school theater group and while they work on the new performance, she will learn what it means to fight for her dreams. Akira OSAKI has made a completely improvised film with fresh actors, revolving around the songs of Cosame NISHIYAMA. A coming-of-age film like a concept album, gliding between moods, between future and present, city and province, this world and the next.
