A lecture by Daniel OTTO
In the 1980s, the Japanese production company Herald Ace focused on co-productions with Germany: Kumashiro TATSUMI directed the erotic film DIE FRAU MIT DEM ROTEN HUT, and Masahiro SHINODA adapted a scandalous novella for DIE TÄNZERIN. In this lecture, film expert Daniel OTTO provides insights into an unknown chapter of German-Japanese film history.
