Online Lecture: Sun And Shadows – An Artistic And Musical Journey Through Okinawa

Okinawa is located at the southernmost end of Japan and is characterized by its protest culture and its art scene. Japanologist Anja SUEYOSHI has been living there for five years and will give an insight into the history and culture of the subtropical archipelago in her online lecture, live from Okinawa, together with Titus Spree, co-founder of Art Initiative Okinawa. This will be accompanied by live music performed by DJ harikuyamaku, who combines traditional Okinawan sounds with contemporary electronic music.
