Ichiko is a nurse working for a family with whom she has become close friends. When one of the two daughters disappears and Ichiko’s nephew is arrested as a suspect, she hesitates to testify. Her life falls apart gradually under public pressure and self-doubt. A GIRL MISSING celebrated its world premiere at the Locarno Film Festival in 2019.

About Koji FUKADA
深田晃司
Koji FUKADA, born in Tokyo in 1980, studied literature at Taisho University and film at the Film School of Tokyo. He made his feature film debut with THE CHAIR in 2004. One year later, he joined the theater group Seinendan. His films HOSPITALITÉ (2010) and AU REVOIR L’ÉTÉ (2013 / NC ’14) were successfully screened at various international film festivals and have won numerous awards. HARMONIUM (2016 / NC ’17) received the Jury Award at Un Certain Regard in Cannes. In 2018, he was named Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in France.
