About Mankyu
まんきゅう
Mankyu, born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1980, is an anime director, character designer and script writer. After graduation at Hosei University, he joined the animation studio DLE in 2006. He worked on several anime TV shows under the pen name mick box until he changed it to Mankyu in 2009 when starting out at the animation studio Gathering. Since then, he has directed and written for numerous renowned anime, film and TV franchises.
