The Japanese Art Of Fish Printing

Originating in the 19th century and having since become an art form, gyotaku is a printing technique with which fishermen used to document their catches. Paula NISHIKAWARA creates precise and expressive images, using real fish, washi paper and watercolors. The workshop will give you an insight into this unique art and the opportunity to create your own prints.
