Since generations Yusuke’s family runs a dairy farm in the mountains. When his father gets sick, they call him to take over the business. But he hasn’t given up his dream of being a musician in Tokyo yet and the relationship with his girlfriend as well as the visit of his sister with her boyfriend force him to make decisions. Then a fire breaks out at his uncle’s farm.

About Juichiro YAMASAKI
山崎樹一郎
Born in Osaka in 1978, Juichiro YAMASAKI worked at the Kyoto International Student Film & Video Festival and as an assisstant director. After he completed the short film THE FALL OF LEAVES in 2008, his first feature THE SOUND OF LIGHT (2011) was invited to several international film festivals and received the NIPPON VISIONS AWARD in 2012. YAMAZAKI lives as a farmer in Okayama Prefecture.
