½ Nippon Visions
The NIPPON VISIONS section is a space for new talents and experimentation: Here you can find a dystopian satire next to a queer coming-of-age drama, as well as a diverse selection of short films. In this section, a jury will determine the winner of the NIPPON VISIONS JURY AWARD, sponsored by Japan Visualmedia Translation Academy (JVTA), while the audience can choose the winner of the NIPPON VISIONS AUDIENCE AWARD, sponsored by Japanisches Kultur- und Sprachzentrum. Part of the film program will be shown on our VOD platform watch.NipponConnection.com from May 30 to June 6, 2022 (Germany only). The titles will be revealed on May 29.
